This course on Sustainable Land/Marine Conservation and Eco-tourism in Southern Leyte
offers a comprehensive exploration of the principles and practices that promote responsible tourism
while preserving marine ecosystems.

Dream of exploring unspoiled beaches, vibrant coral reefs and verdant mountains while making a real
difference? Run in partnership with Southern Leyte State University, our summer school immerses you
in the breathtaking biodiversity of Southern Leyte and beyond.

Experience first-hand how responsible tourism safeguards fragile ecosystems and uplifts local
communities. Guided by experts, you’ll snorkel and dive in protected marine areas, study sustainable
land management and engage with communities to learn how eco-tourism can sustain livelihoods.

Your fee covers PADI diving lessons to earn your PADI certification, transportation from airport or seaport and to course activities, comfortable accommodation and unforgettable excursions to Bohol and Siargao, plus field trips across Southern Leyte’s protected lands and seas.
